形態特徵

Perennial erect and ascending herbs to 60 cm tall; branches terete, pubescent.
Leaves opposite, elliptic to oblong-lanceolate, 3–12 cm long, 1–3.5 cm wide, apex acute to acuminate, base attenuate, glabrous to sparsely pubescent, lateral veins 4–6-pairs, distinct; petiole 1–3 cm long; stipules linear-deltate, caducous early.
Flowers in terminal bracteate cymes, heterostylous, peduncle 2–5 cm long, pedicel 0.5–5 mm long; bracts linear-lanceolate, 3–5 mm long, glabrous; calyx campanulate, ca. 3 mm long, tube more or less urceolate, lobes 5, oblong to lanceolate, ca. 1.5 mm long; corolla salverform, white, 10–18 mm long, glabrous except hairy in throat.
Fruit obdeltoid, 3–5 mm long, 8–10 mm wide, glabrous.

分布

台灣 : in shady evergreen forests in lowlands.
世界 : Northern Vietnam, central and southern China and Japan.
